Herbin Pearl Noire did a much better job than I expected though maybe a prejudged them too harshly. Montblanc Permanent Black, Lamy Black, and J.
Noodler's Black and Eel Black were rather disappointing, and Dark Matter wasn't as Dark as I expected.
It's also a fairly neutral grey colour with not much bias towards red, green or blue. This seems to be backed up by how the average colour of Polar Black is the only ink to drop into the 20s. And recently, Cease gave his followers the first look at the new spot.If I was to pick a winner (of blackest black) from my eyes, for both papers, it would be, very surprisingly, Noodler's Polar Black.
Now that their relationships with Ryan are over, they are now opening up a new Black Ink shop together in Houston. Van and Cease link up to open up a new Black Ink shop in Houston. To no surprise, both men got shady on social media. When Ryan was accused of sleeping with his best friend’s baby momma, Van and Cease both had something to say about it. And he accused Ryan of not being loyal to those who were there for him in the beginning. But the last straw was after Ryan decided he didn’t want Van at the new 9Mag shop after the first shop was closed down. As far as Van is concerned, they have had issues with each other for years. He fell out with Cease over the rumors about him and Miss Kitty. When it comes to friendships, things change often on “Black Ink Crew” and “Black Ink Crew Chicago.” As of now, Ryan is not in a good place with Ceaser or Van.
